This is a vintage bike ride, a non-competitive cycling
that everyone can take part in if they have a historical
bike and consistent clothing. The event reflects the set-
ting and the sporting dimension of the ‘50s and’ 60s,
when we ran not with the technical clothing we know
today, but with wool sweaters and shorts; consequent-
ly the bicycles that run on these tracks must be strictly
vintage.
L’Intrepida - born by the will of local fans gathered in
the GS Frates Dynamis Bike Association, presided over
by Fabrizio Graziotti - is divided into three different
routes: the short one, 42 kilometers long; the longest
one of 85; and the intrepid one with a length of 120.
The first edition was organized in 2012 and 205 riders
took part. The edition held this year - on Sunday 21
October, with entertainment activities started already
from the previous Thursday - saw instead the extraor-
dinary participation of 1,020 cyclists.
