sublime, ovvero quella misteriosa dimensione che fornisce consapevolezza emotiva
a tutto ciò che è indefinito, ineffabile, e che pure si avverte nonostante quella serena
vaghezza di inafferrabilità. Tutto questo è fonte di contemplazione della natura,

È l’approccio giusto che serve e si rivela dentro di noi quando sorge il desiderio di conoscere
e approfondire qualcosa. È il gusto della scoperta, che nasce sempre da qualche passione e
dalla capacità di stupirsi e cogliere le meraviglie. Come accade a Pompei, città il cui tempo
si è fermato e che, tuttavia, appare incredibilmente viva, in movimento, quasi una metafora
della dinamica che coinvolge chi fa della propria vita una ricerca incessante, un arricchimento
della conoscenza. L’antico sito alle pendici del Vesuvio è infatti una rivelazione continua, e
non finisce di sorprenderci. I recenti scavi della Regio V lo confermano e hanno portato alla
luce ulteriori elementi della quotidianità di quella civiltà, restituendo al grande pubblico uno
scrigno prezioso capace di emozionare e suscitare entusiasmo. E così una città che si pensava
già conosciuta riesce ad offrirci ancora nuovi spunti di conoscenza e di approfondimento.
