                                                                    over with all its violence, and we entered the mooring
                                                                    space just in time, before the pandemonium took place
                                                                    outside in the ocean. In the small port of Cadiz many bo-
                                                                    ats at anchor have been thrown against the rocks by the
                                                                    fury of the wind.
                                                                    Throughout the rest of the day and the following night,
                                                                    the storm raged with unprecedented violence. But we
                                                                    were safe now and heard the hiss of the wind while we
                                                                    were eating shrimp and grilled fish in a tavern accompa-
                                                                    nied by a perfect local wine.
